TRANSMISSION LINES: The Company is having a dedicated 132kv line from WESCO supported with 56 nos. of 132kv towers between the WESCO substation and the company's receiving station and is built to carry 50MW of power. The transmission lines have been built and designed as per OPTCL's  and other applicable electricity standards. The transmission lines are also provided with power line Carry Communication system (PLCC) to track speech communication through it.

 

 

 

WATER PIPES: The steel plant requires water to a number of requirements like process water, Make up water for circulating system, cleaning purpose and other general purposes. To meet the above requirement an exhaustive and comprehensive system has been implemented from the river KOEL situated at about 10KMs from the plant site. The water is transmitted through a 10KM steel pipelines which is provided with all required fitting and accessories to ensure smooth continuous and non –turbulent flow of water to  a reservoir built inside the plant with water holding capacity of about 1 lakh  cu.m. The water is treated in a row water treatment plant to bring down the torpidity to the desired level and is stored in under ground water sumps from where water is pumped out to various network.

 

 

 

ROADS: The company is having super build up roads for smooth transportation. These has been maintained by our special logistics team.  There are two approach roads each about 1.5 km long connecting the  NH to the plant entry gates located at two different points and are approximately 8 mtrs. wide catering to & fro transportation including heavy traffic.

 
   

CAPTIVE POWER PLANT: In the first phase the company is setting up a12MW Captive power plant (CPP) which will utilize the waste gas produced from DRI kilns. In the second phase the company will utilize washery rejects from Coal Washery and Char from DRI kilns to to further setup a 18MW power plaant .The CPP will not only provide a source of reliable power but also ensure minimum dependence on grid supply system. The CPP will further reduce the cost of  production with the reduction in  unit cost power providing a competitive advantage to the company. This power plant besides cost benefit will also have social benefits as the entire char and waste gas coming from the DRI plant and coal washery rejects will be captively consumed and hence maintaining a clean environment.
